TUN Social, Benevolent and Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy informs you of what personal information the Foundation collects from you by means of the website accessible at https://tun.foundation (the “Website”) and explains how the Foundation uses this information.
Please read this document carefully before starting to use the Website to be aware of the ways in which your personal data may be treated. This Privacy Policy should be read alongside, and in addition to, terms and conditions accessible online (the “Terms”). By submitting your personal data to the Website, you are giving your free consent to its processing in accordance with terms set forth in this Privacy Policy (including as amended from time to time).

Who handles your personal data?
Any personal data collected from you by means of the Website will be controlled and processed by the Foundation, a non-profit organization duly registered and acting under the Armenian legislation. Whenever you provide the Foundation with personal data, such data will be processed in line with this Privacy Policy and the existing legislation of the Republic of Armenia and other applicable data protection regulations. At the same time, being focused on observing requirements established by national legislation, the Foundation will also take into consideration international best practices generally accepted in the field of data protection.
What types of your personal data are being collected?
You can browse through the Website without providing any personal data. At the same time in some cases, personal data is required in order to facilitate communications between you and the Foundation. This being so, the following personal data may be collected and processed by the Foundation: full name, date of birth, e-mail, affiliation or place of studies, professional interests, photos of you. All personal data is only collected when provided to the Foundation by filling in forms available on the Website or specifying the data in correspondence. Please note that if you contact the Foundation via post or e-mail, records of these communications may be kept.

If you follow a link to any of these resources, please note that the Foundation does not accept any responsibility for the privacy practices adopted by the owners of the respective resources even if you access those using links from the Website. How is your personal data used?
The Foundation may process your personal data:
(a) to ascertain your identity before entering into agreements regarding materials submitted to the Website,
(b) to carry out contractual obligations arising from its agreements with you, including the Terms,

(d) to indicate you as an author or originator of the materials submitted,
(e) to facilitate your participation in events launched by the Foundation,

What means are employed to secure your data?
We have put in place technical and organizational security measures to prevent the loss of or unauthorized access to your personal data. While your personal data is stored in secured databases that are hosted with the use of technical facilities controlled by the Foundation, security of this data is protected by appropriate authentication mechanisms, firewalls and encryption tools (protocols).
Whilst the Foundation uses its best efforts to ensure the security of your personal data please be aware that the Foundation is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages or lost profits resulting from processing your data, use or inability to access or use the Website by you, caused by any technical malfunction and/or prophylactic works undertaken by the Foundation.
Are your data disclosed to third parties?

(a) personal data may be transferred to third parties such as the Employees and affiliates of the Foundation, persons providing business and/or legal consultation, financial services, technical support, professional website hosting or data management services, auditors for proper implementation of their obligations,

(c) personal data may have to be disclosed under applicable law for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or requested of the Foundation in the exercise of official authority,
(d) personal data may be required to be disclosed for the protection of state and public security,
(e) the disclosure of personal data may be otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
Whatever the reasons for the disclosure of your personal data may be, the Foundation will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected at least in line with this Privacy Policy.
What rights do you have with respect to your personal data?
You have the right to obtain at any time confirmation as to whether or not personal data relating to you is being processed. Where such personal data is being processed, you may also be provided with information on the content of such personal data, the recipients to whom the personal data have been disclosed, and other information relating to the terms of your personal data processing. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on legitimate compelling grounds except when it is collected in order to comply with a legal obligation or is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
